Sharing My Story
Definition:
I believe that all people are loved by God and need Jesus Christ as their Savior. Therefore, I intentionally build relationships with non-believers with the hope of sharing the story of my journey as a Christ follower.
Growth in Sharing Your Story and Engaging the Mission is birthed out of a growing relationship with Christ. That relationship is nurtured by intentionally being in God’s Word. Being in His Word will open up to you who He is. From there you will begin to see Him working in the world around you and in your life. From there, your faith grows. As that circle continues, you will grow to love Him more and more, and you will find that you will naturally be sharing Him with others and be open to His opportunities for you to engage the mission He has set before you.
Recommended Actions
- Write your testimony and share it as God provides the opportunity.
- Make a list of non-believers you know and begin praying regularly for their salvation.
- Begin building relationships with non believers you come in contact with regularly.
- Invite an unchurched friend to worship or bible study.
