Why join?

Why membership is so important.

Community

... because life-change takes place best in the context of community!
... God adds to the body for the common good of the body | 1 Cor. 12:7 18

Purpose

... God is not adding you to this church accidentally!
... if God is adding you to this body, He wants to do something through your life to
enable Stonegate to fulfill His purposes.
... because you cannot fulfill your purpose outside of the context of community!

Accountability

... because accountability is best understood in the context of community!
... membership is about a covenant, not privileges.

Membership Matters

Things that matter to us and to you.

The Bible is our final authority on all matters pertaining to faith and practice.
Because living is a reflection of what God has done in our lives, everything we do will be done with excellence.
Our methods change - the message does not.
Trusting Christ is a process best facilitated through relationships and in community.
Becoming a member means that you understand the importance of being committed to joining and attending a small group ( COM.group)
Every member is wired for purposeful living and service.
If you become a member of Stonegate, you will be called upon to help create, lead and resource various ministry environments.

( we will provide you a weekly environment where life-change can take place )

We expect you to live a God honoring life.
( we will provide the tools for you to become a devoted Christ follower )

We expect you to share of your resources.
( we work and live together as a body of believers in community )
