9-week series of messages from the book "The Barbarian Way" by Erwin McManus.

"The Barbarian Series" will meet at 6:30 am in the Quarry 3 weeks out of each month during the summer.

A Dangerous Road.

Two thousand years later the call to follow Christ has been repackaged to be smooth and trouble-free, filled with opportunity and promise but lacking risk, passion, and sacrifice. Is this really what Jesus died for? If He chose the way of the cross, where would He hesitate leading us? Is it possible that to follow Jesus is to choose the barbarian way?

Jesus never made a pristine call to a proper or safe religion. Jesus beckons His followers to a path that is far from the easy road. It is a path filled with adventure, uncertainty, and unlimited possibilites-the only path that can fulfill the deepest longings and desires of your heart.

This is the Barabarian Way: to give your heart to the only One who can make you fully alive. To love Him with simplicity and intensity. To unleash the untamed faith within. To be consumed by the presence of a passionate and compassionate God. To go where He sends you, no matter the cost.

Marriage Preparation
Location: Youth Building (8:30am)

If you are thinking about or planning a marriage, you need to sign up for this class. Stonegate requires it, as do most other churches. We offer 3 sessions each year & the next one starts in February. Registration is required.

Starting Point
Location: Youth Building 10:00am

This is a 3-week journey where you will discover more about Stonegate Fellowship in a conversational environment. It is a part of the membership process where you can explore faith and experience community. Starting together means that we understand the essentials. You will learn about our history and mission, our values and vision for ministry, and you will hear an explanation of our Biblically based beliefs. You will gain an understanding of the strategy we use to accomplish the mission of Stonegate Fellowship. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about any and all of these areas.

Journey to Recovery
Location: Quarry

In this course, we utilize a 12-step approach to learning how to walk in the Spirit in the midst of struggles with alcohol or other substances that we have not been able to overcome. It is designed specifically for those who either struggle with or are in a close relationship with someone who struggles with alcoholism or substance abuse. You can join at any time. Books will be available for purchase at each class.

Men's Bible Study
Location: Quarry (6:30am)

Men’s in-depth Bible study will resume in the Fall. This class is designed to challenge men to walk in a manner worthy of their calling. Led by senior pastor, Patrick Payton. If you missed any of the classes be sure to download the Podcast.

College / Young Professionals
Location: Youth Building

This is a group of 18-24 year olds who have a desire to see God use them in an amazing way. They focus on who they are in Christ and what He has called them to be. Small groups will also be meeting throughout the week.
