To encourage and equip our members to become effectively and personally involved in leading the people of our local communities, and of all nations, into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”Rev. 7:9-10
At Stonegate Fellowship, our mission is to encourage and equip our members to become effectively and personally involved in leading the people of all nations into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We are called to do this not through a cooperative program but by our direct involvement in mission.
Our calling is to strengthen the local church. In the Midland, Odessa area Stonegate is the local church and therefore will work with ministries successfully impacting the culture in this area. In North America and the rest of the world we are called to support the local church's efforts to share Jesus in their culture and community.
Today, Stonegate has mission activities in Midland/Odessa and other locations in North America, Romania, Liberia and Sudan.
A Missions Leadership Team guides our mission efforts with Geographic Mission Teams implementing these efforts.
