Greater Ideal
Baptist Church
This church is located in “the flats”, a poor & high crime rate area in Southeast Midland. Greater Ideal has undertaken large economic and community development projects.
There are numerous service & outreach opportunities throughout the year.
Baptist Crisis Center
This Center brings the Gospel to anyone who visits them looking for assistance with clothing, food, financial assistance, or just someone needing to talk.
Breaking Bread Ministries
This is a ministry of Church on Wheels.
They feed the homeless and needy hot meals each weeknight along with ministering to them while they are there.
Community and Senior Services: Month of September
Fanny stands at the door with a big smile on her face and her dog in hand. Her hot meal is one of 450 delivered on weekdays by Meals on Wheels volunteers. Stonegate has adopted the month of September to help deliver meals and to be a light to the elderly.
Local Schools: July 30 - 31
Last year Stonegate changed out over 2000 light bulbs in Midland and Lee High Schools. This year, in cooperation with MISD, we will provide volunteers to brighten up some of our local schools.
